Rapid Fat Loss - Shoot for the Sky

You want rapid fat loss! Follow these three principles of success to achieve your rapid fat loss: reduce your stress, watch your diet, and incorporate interval training into your exercise program.

Stress has a way of storing body fat into our system. When we are in a stressful situation, the body releases a hormone called Cortisol, which takes the fat and calories in our body and stores it in our belly. The body fat is then stored in the belly to be used at a future time. Increased belly fat also increases the risk of stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Stress management techniques such as mediation, yoga, tai chi and deep breathing have been effective at decreasing stress and giving us a better way to handle stressful situations.

Healthy habits in eating are great ways to control our caloric intake. By controlling and avoiding fatty foods, processed foods and sodas, we are better able to avoid the high calories of these foods and not overeat. If our body is not able to burn the calories of the high calorie foods, it is converted to body fat and stored away on the body.

Eating several small meals per day, will allow us to not overeat, maintain our energy throughout the day and help monitor our calories. It will allow our body to burn more fat and give us a flat stomach.

Interval training is a great way to increase our metabolism and make our body burn excess body fat. The short intense intervals allow our body to use more energy to help bring oxygen to the muscles. In doing so, the body must breakdown fat to fuel the increased muscle activity.

The high intensity interval training forces the muscles to work harder. The greater activity of the muscles causes a build up of waste products and causes the body to bring oxygen to repair the muscles and remove the waste products from the muscles. The increased metabolic activity of muscles remain active and continue even after the physical activity is over.

Rapid fat loss success is dependent upon reducing your stress, watching your diet and incorporating interval training into your exercise program. These factors will allow your body to kick-start its metabolism and make your body into a fat burning machine.
