Lupus Diet Do’s for Nutritional Healing
Is it possible to heal lupus? Yes!! I have as have many others, some of which was through lupus diet alone. If you have lupus, fibromyalgia, arthritis or any auto immune disease you have the ability to at minimum reduce your symptoms, and possibly heal them altogether with a nutritional healing approach.

What you eat has a consequence, and has the power to affect how you feel, both physically and emotionally.
There are 7 lupus diet principles that has the power to reduce your symptoms which allow your body to heal. They are:
1. Eat meals which consist mainly of simple, whole foods such as fruit, vegetables and other raw foods.
2. Consume easy to digest foods, such as vegetable soup, smoothies and salads based with natural, raw ingredients.
3. Be sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water throughout the day. This supports the elimination of toxic build up in the body, and a faulty digestive process common with lupus sufferers.
4. Supplement your diet with digestive enzymes and probiotics. Most lupus sufferers don’t absorb their food properly and this will support the healing process.
5. Be sure to have enough essential fatty acid (EFA’s) in your diet (such as salmon, tuna and other cold water fish), or supplement with it. This will help reduce inflammation, pain and avoid flares.
6. Use caution with foods that cause food sensitivities or allergies and know how your body responds to them. Get tested to be sure of your bodies specific needs. Some allergy and food sensitivity tests do not indicate food sensitivities to specific items common with reactions (such as wheat, dairy, corn, etc.), so keep track of your body’s reactions to foods.
7. Eat a varied lupus diet, rich with alkaline, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory foods. Always clean your food well, (including organic foods).
