Home Remedies to Fight Your Cold

Regardless of how much you exercise or how carefully you eat, you can’t avoid colds. They get us all.

But, you can treat your symptoms and beat your cold off sooner. Just try these tips.

1. As soon as your cold symptoms begin, take two to three 500 milligram vitamin C tablets a day.

2. Twice a day, drink a cup of warm water, lemon, and honey. Use the juice of a good sized lemon with each cup of water, and at least one teaspoon of honey.

3. Before bed, take a very hot shower, put on sweat clothes, and sleep under 2-3 blankets.

4. Eat chicken soup. Mom was right. It will relieve symptons.

5. Gargle in the morning, after dinner, and once in between. A few teaspoons of salt in warm water can work wonders.

Unfortunately, medical researchers have not been able to come up with a cure for the common cold. But, the remedies above can make your life a lot more pleasant when one strikes you.
